Helping people doesn't need to be big and extravagant because helping starts with the heart and sincerity.

The Convoy of Hope is a non-profit organization that was founded was founded in 1994 by the Donaldson family. Their inspiration for starting the organization can be traced back to the many people who helped their family after their father, Harold, was killed by a drunk driver in 1969. Today, more than 80 million people have been served throughout the world by Convoy of Hope. They are converging with other partners to reach more people and help more people with less fortunate resources. Here in the Philippines, there is Convoy of Hope that held events to nourished and cared for the children.

Emerging from the traditional media and platform, Convoy of Hope is also using the online scheme. They are collaborating with online influencers to have innovative programs to relief international and domestic misfortune. The Convoy of Hope is assisting the DANCEmber revolution to engage more people and spread the news quickly.

DANCEmber is an innovation to raise funds for any humanitarian works spearheaded by the family of Judy and Benji Travis - family YouTuber and vloggers, who uses the online world to reach people. With more than four million followers on YouTube, they're considered to be one of the industry's top social media influencers.

Each year, Judy and her husband, Benji, host a 24-hour live broadcast in December, known as DANCEmber and they dance for donations. The event raises awareness and funds for different humanitarian causes throughout the world. The campaign generated a lot of buzz among their fans and ended up smashing their original goal. The couple has since chosen several other nonprofits to support.

Today, the DANCEmber team is in the Philippines particularly in Cebu and Manila to have a meet and greet together with the Travis family and do programs that can help children and to raise their awareness campaign. Last September 24, the team is at SM Seaside Cebu to meet their subscribers and have a fun activity. Not only Benji and Judy came along but also their three daughters are with them. This coming October 1, they will be heading to Manila to have the same event as well.

The event is the kickoff of the annual DANCEmber, which they dance for donations. With their goal of raising the bar to a million dollars, they expect to have a big team behind them.

Little by little we can help on another and connect the gap that can be seen in reality. Peoples' action are the reflection of their own personality, and giving is also a remarks of how you see the world. Convoy of Hope is an example that we are not alone in the battle of misfortunes and tragedy and the people supporting them makes the idea into an action.
